MISSY WINS HER CLASS IN ST BARTHS
Missy wins her class at the St Barths Bucket!
Participating in her first regatta, Missy gave a consistently strong performance across all three races.
"It's been a great week for the whole team. The Corinthian Class is a wonderful way for an owner to experience the regatta competition and atmosphere, without the need for a larger investment. This win at the St Barths Bucket has certainly fuelled the owner's interest in racing and I hope we'll see Missy turning heads at another event in the near future. My thanks and congratulations to the Owner, Captain and all involved." - Malcolm McKeon

32.5m Ribelle - A Winning Design
There was close competition between the yachts in the Supermaxi Class all week, but Ribelle’s win on day four of the Maxi Yacht Rolex Cup secured her the regatta title, with one race still to run.
Ribelle’s owners and YCCS members, Paola and Salvatore Trifirò, commented:
"We wish to thank everyone who contributed to make this edition of the Maxi Yacht Rolex Cup as splendid as ever. Our victory is the fruit of a long and complex process that brought us to build a very innovative yacht. But we never would have gotten this result without the hard work of an exceptional team made up of some of the best sailors in Italy. We are very happy.”
MM341 - COMMENCES BUILD AT BALTIC YACHTS
Now under construction at Baltic Yachts, MM341 was designed for an experienced owner with worldwide cruising and the occasional foray onto the racecourse in mind.
At 34m length overall, the interior arrangement has four guest cabins as well as crew accommodation for five.
"I’m delighted to be working with this owner, who’s completed a number of yacht projects in the past. I'm also really excited to be working with Baltic Yachts for the first time. With construction now underway, completion is expected for spring 2019." - Malcolm McKeon
Weight saving, achieved through her advanced carbon composite construction using foam and Nomex cores, was an important part of the design process. Her generous sail plan featuring a square top mainsail, deep draft, telescopic lifting keel and high righting moment configuration, will combine to produce a lively performance from this highly-tuned cruising yacht when she competes in regattas.
RIBELLE EXCELS IN FIRST REGATTA
The recently launched 32.5m Ribelle finished the Loro Piana Superyacht Regatta in second place, much to the delight of her owners and the team involved.
She gave an impressive performance throughout the week, taking 1st in Class day one, followed by a 2nd on day two, then a 4th and 5th.

MMYD SAILING ON MISSY IN THE BAY OF PALMA
Following delivery to her owner, the team from MMYD visited Missy in Palma to spend a few days aboard, putting her sailing prowess to the test.
"Missy has exceeded all my expectations and is a delight to sail; she is perfectly balanced with plenty of stability to carry her generous sail plan. Missy's deck is a very comfortable place to be with many places to relax whilst sailing, whether it be in the cockpit, on the aft sunbeds or on the comfortable teak-covered coamings. Visibility from the helm stations is uninterrupted over her sleek, low profile and yet the raised saloon offers all-round visibility whilst seated below. Missy will live up to all expectations as a comfortable world-cruising yacht as well as a competitive regatta yacht."
- Malcolm McKeon
