DESCRIPTION
This fresh and forward-thinking 63m design, ‘Project Dreamer’, is a state-of-the-art performance cruiser, perfectly aligning sailing prowess with luxury and grace. The client sought the largest yacht possible within a 500GT limit that could still embody true modern elegance.
The hull design features a slightly reverse bow with subtle curvature, mirroring the gentle slope and radiused look of the transom. A lifting keel takes the draft from 7.30m up to 4.75m, and a sloop rig from Southern Spars stands 77.5m off the water. Equipped with a wardrobe from North Sails, Project Dreamer will sport a downwind sail area of some 3,762m².
Project Dreamer will be equipped with a hybrid diesel-electric system and battery bank, and electric Azimuth pod drives with 360-degree rotation will provide the propulsion.
Focusing on timeless, clean aesthetics for the exterior lines, and creating multiple spaces for dining, socialising, and relaxing with extended family. Highlights of the design include fold-down bulwarks either side of the cockpit, a 90m² flybridge configured with an alfresco dining table and seating to aft and, on the foredeck, a novel recess in the deck with integrated seating.
Whilst guest numbers will typically be limited to 12, Project Dreamer has accommodation for up to 16 and will be coded to permit the addition of extra passengers on short trips.
The yacht will feature a refined interior by M2Atelier. The general arrangement places the aft cockpit and saloon lounge on the same level, united by a flush deck, with the saloon itself featuring a bar counter, sofa seating, and dining area. The galley, laundry, crew mess and quarters are positioned forward on the lower deck, with accommodation for a complement of 12 crew in six cabins.
Construction will commence later this summer, and Project Dreamer is scheduled for delivery in 2028.
